As Avid trail users, we understand the need for good signage and what it takes to create a functional, attractive wayfinding system. From trailhead kiosks to directionals, mileage markers, interpretive displays, and of course, easy-to-follow maps, we have complete in-house graphic design and fabrication know-how to implement a first-rate signage package.
We provide full planning and design services for trail signage systems. Trail sign packages can typically include trailhead maps and kiosk design, trail markers, directionals, mileage markers, emergency location markers, interpretive / educational panels, rules and regs, pretty much any type of messaging you’d need for your trail system.
Our services can include developing sign type hierarchy and concept level design of all sign types, signage plans (showing which signs go where on a trails map), materials specs and schematic design for cost estimating, construction drawings of signs for fabrication, and content creation for all sign faces.
While we don’t print or fabricate signs, we can help source local sign shops who do, based on specs we provide. We also can supervise installation of signs, making sure everything is in the right place.
